As soon as I read the title, “Murder at Howard Johnson’s” I knew I had to see it. Am I glad I did! It’s playing at the Studio C (6448 Santa Monica Boulevard 90038). It is a hilarious comedy written by Rob Clark & Sam Bobrick and directed by John Coppolla.
The play takes place in Room #9 of the Howard Johnson’s Motor Inn in 1933. Act I - Christmas, Act II - Fourth of July and Act III - New Years Eve. This very funny comedy unfolds thru the comic genius/timing of its 3 characters: Arlene (Mary Beth Evans), Paul (Wilson Green) and Mitchell (Patrick Munoz).
